‘GET YOUR NIGHTMARE RIGHT’ WITH NATIVE CLEVELANDER’S DEBUT ROCK EP OUT NOW
The debut solo EP from Cleveland singer-songwriter and guitarist Camille Champa, under the moniker Nostalgic Amnesia, offers listeners a powerful outlet to let go and embrace their wild side. Released on November 22, 2024, the EP, Get Your Nightmare Right, is a cathartic journey exploring the fallout from connections, both good and bad - a sonic escape into alternative, blues and grunge-informed rock. The five song collection is an emotional release inspired by leaving a toxic relationship and returning to the roots of your true self.
Following a five year hiatus from music, Camille felt the unrelenting pull to create again, this time going all in on solo songwriting and taking the lead with vocal work. “In the past, I always collaborated with more seasoned songwriters. I needed to prove to myself that I could finish a thought on my own, and also hope I can demonstrate that it’s possible to do what you want creatively no matter what box society wants to put you in. Creativity doesn’t have to stop just because you’re in your 40s, have kids, got divorced, or any other excuse we are told makes our desires unavailable.”
Channeling the rebellious spirit of 70s rock, mixing it with some 90s grit, and adding raw, in-your-face vocals, Get Your Nightmare Right is an invitation to embrace the chaos and immerse yourself in the unrestrained power of rock.
Get Your Nightmare Right was produced, recorded, and mixed by award winning producer Michael Seifert, known for his work with artists across a wide spectrum of genres, at the iconic Suma Recording Studio in Painesville, Ohio. Mastered by Dan Millice.
